For our employment agency A&T Personeelsgroep B.V. in the Netherlands, we’re searching for Independent Working Cooks, with various levels of experience. Our clients are a chain of hotels and a chain of restaurants, both with seats in the whole Netherlands.
THE JOB CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
– Execution of the preliminary work;
– Assessment of the quality of the products and of the ingredients to use for the dishes;
– Preparation of the dishes and/or of a part of the dishes, according to the recipe or to specific instructions;
– Preparation and garnishment of dishes;
– Performance of periodic checks in order to ensure the quality of the dishes;
– Checks on the dishes in order to ensure that they are compliant to the presentation standards;
– Cleaning of the work environment and of the kitchen tools, in order to keep a hygienic workplace;
– Attention to the details and spotting of the points to improve;
– Help in the reception of food items.
THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:
– At least one year of experience as independent cook;
– Preferred experience with food for special diets or allergies;
– Preferred diploma from a hotel/cook school;
– Accuracy, stress tolerance, reliability and initiative;
– Good attitude for both individual and team work;
– A good knowledge of the English, German or Dutch language is MANDATORY.
